Health Benefits
GRACILARIA (SEAMOSS): There are many different varieties of sea moss. Gracilaria is widely used around the world, particularly around the Caribbean. The type we are using is Honduran Seamoss, native to Dr Sebi’s birth nation Honduras.
Gracilaria is nutrient dense so it has a wide range of health-related benefits. It improves blood circulation, which alone provides multiple benefits such as improved muscle and organ functioning. It is great for this with diabetes as it regulates blood sugar and is recommended by dieticians for those with insulin resistance. Studies have shown it strengthens the immune system. It is very soothing to the digestive tract due to its mucilaginous and prebiotic properties. There are many more benefits ranging from improving the skeletal system’s overall health, increasing stamina, improving reproductive and erectile health, plus much more.
BLADDERWRACK: Bladderwrack is rich in iodine, which is excellent for thyroid health. It is a potent source of multiple fibres that improves digestion, relieves constipation and eases bloating. Due to its beta-carotene content, it is great for improving and maintaining healthy eyes. It has also been used for its anti-inflammatory properties
BURDOCK ROOT: Burdock root is a powerful herb with a wide variety of benefits. It detoxifies the liver, which helps to remove free radicals, toxins and purify the blood. A cleaner liver will improve your body’s detoxifying potential. Burdock root protects against diabetes as it can lower and regulate blood sugar levels. It also prevents cancerous cell development. Another key attribute is it regulates blood pressure, which reduces the risk of heart diseases, stroke and hypertension.
Keep refridgerated. Sea moss can have a shelf life of up to 2 weeks but is always best consumed as fresh as possible.
